I recently lost my beloved pug of 7 years due to an infected uterus. She had not been spayed and our vet had suggested it several times. We did not want to put her through a surgery that we thought was not needed. I'm so sorry about your loss. Sounds like your dog was very much loved. That is what is important. I'm sure she's with you at all times. Just in a different way.
