First of all this is a serious question can a human spread rabies to another human through kissing if the human got in contact with the virus somehow?

also how rare exactly is rabies in the US, specificly in california. Im just worried that i could kiss someone that doesnt know she has it and I might possibly get it because of this.

USA is currently has been declared a Rabies free country, and only some of the wild animals still catch it like racoons for example or ferrets.

What is this with the kissing issue???
