First of all this is a serious question can a human spread rabies to another human through kissing if the human got in contact with the virus somehow?

also how rare exactly is rabies in the US, specificly in california. Im just worried that i could kiss someone that doesnt know she has it and I might possibly get it because of this.

Rather interesting question. Yes humans can get rabies only if they are bitten by a rabid animal. Secondly if the person is infected with rabies they will not live very long as it will destroy the brain.

So what is the status of your paranoia meter concerning the kissing aspects. need more details.
