Rabies

Last night my boyfriend, Jesse, let his cat, Dez, in. When I started to pet him, he started spazing out and kind-of going in circles, licking the air and he lunged at my leg. I put my hand out to stop him and he latched on to my hand really hard. He wouldn't let go. I started yelling and hit him in the head to make him stop. He wouldn't let go. Then I picked him up, which made it worse and he dug in farther. When I finally got him off of me, there were two big fang marks. They are pretty deep. Jesse took my into the bathroom to clean and bandage my hand and I passed out. When I woke up, I was really sick to my stomach. My hand was hurting really bad. Today, the wounds are oosing and the whole side of my hand really hurts and I still feel a bit sick to my stomach. At lunch time, Jesse was feeding Dez and pet him with the cat food cup and he started to spaz out again. He was doing the same thing, going in circles, but this time he peed. Dez's back has, for some unknown reason, always been extra sensitive. But we weren't petting his back; it was his side. I don't know what to do. I don't know if Dez could have rabies and if so I could have it. I don't want to needlessly take him to the vet because we can't afford it. I don't want to go to the hospital and make a fool of myself if it is nothing. Not to mention the waste of time and money. Please, someone give me some advice. Anything. Thanks.

Then YOU GET YOURSELF TO A HOSPITAL PRONTO.

The cat has RABIES. AND Your next in line unless you get those rabies shots from the hospital ASAP.

NOTHING TO FOOL AROUND WITH, AND NOTHING IS CONSIDERED FUNNY.

You can lose your hand to RABIES AND YOU ARE EXPERIENCING THE FIRST SIGNS OF THE DISEASE.

So get yourself to a HOSPITAL NOW

The cat is GONE - TOO LATE TO SAVE IT---- PUT IT TO SLEEP ---- NOT YOU HAVE THE VET DO IT. They have the equipment to secure the cat and inject the death drugs.
