Rabies

I have just completed the series of shots. I started them as soon as I got bit that night.
The shots didn't hurt at all like I heard they did in the "olden days". The mad skunk that bite me was worse than the shots! I am just scared I can get the disese anyway for some reason. Like I'll be the person whose not receptive to the shots..... I wonder how many people have rutinely gone throught this...

Recently, I have read/heard of this happening more often than I had thought it was. The vaccine has proven to be extremely effective. I wouldn't worry as stress and anxiety can cause symptoms to exasperate. Positive thoughts will help your body's immunity.

Do you know for sure if the skunk was rabid?
