Rabies

Two nights ago my blind german shepherd/chow mix woke us up at 1 in the morning yelping like he was being attacked. When I checked on him there was nothing out there, but he was behaving oddly, yelping and lifting first one paw, then the other...I went outside with my sister to check on him. When my sister tried to touch him he snarled and tried to bite her, but when i touched him he just trembled...We went back to bed and in the morning transferred him from chain to cage...I checked on him every now and then, then realized he hadnt touched food nor water. Mom's bf let him out of the cage and put him back on the chain, where he promptly fell down. After a while he struggled back up and started walking in circles. His eyes were glazed over and his nose was gray... I managed to get him to eat some meat and drink a little water. Then, when i went to stand back up, he lunged and tried to bite me!! I left him alone after that and he continued to walk around in circles. My mom put him back in the cage for the night so he wouldnt wear himself out. He woke me up again around 1 with his yelping, but i couldnt do anything to help, so i went back to bed. I checked on him about 10 minutes ago and his mouth was foaming...hes laying perfectly still, but still breathing...And he doesnt respond to my voice or his name-to surefire ways to get his attention....Is this rabies???

Put the dog to sleep, and say a few prayers for his soul. Make sure after you put him in the coffin, give the dog is chew bone favorites etc. Then cover him and bury him maybe in your back yard with a stone marker etc.

I know it is hard, but I lost 3 dogs and they are buried in my back yard in my mausoleum. Yea I made it, and they are in a crypt. I see them every day, and truly I miss my Doxies.

I hope to see mine again after I die.
