We found a cute puppy aged less than a month that looks starved near to my home,so I brought it with me.As it is very small and due to its natural behaviour it started licking, attempting to bite only near the ankels,we neglected those things.
Once when we (me and my brother)are playing with it unnoticingly it just scratched our hand with its tooth, just like a small scratch where one can believe that it is not at all a bite of a dog,but my fear is that is it necessary to take a vaccine or not.

First thing you need to do is start the De-worming on the puppy. Being nearly starved, sounds like the mother either abandoned the puppy or the other way around whereas the puppy wondered away from the litter pack. Anyway good for you to have a heart. What you need to do now is maintain this dog right now and don't fail. Your guess being less than a month can also be more than a month. Hard to say. So I do suggest you start giving this dog the vaccinations because it does not have very much maternal antibodies from the mother since it less than 4 weeks old.

Get the dog its shots ASAP. You need to do this three times every 3 weeks minimum and one final booster which is around week 16-18. You need to de-worm this dog minimum 4 times every 3 weeks. Don't forget to give it the first rabies shot after this dog is over 3 months old. OK, and also give it Pneumodog (Kennel cough) to protect the dog as well. Regardless give the dog that shot. It pays off good for the dog in keeping it healthy.

The scratch from the dog etc, is normal. Puppies love to bite and chew out of curiosity. You don't need to worry.

If you de-worm , and vaccinate in timely manner, and give it good food, you should be in good shape.

God bless you and your furry friend
