Pet Loss

My friend just had to put her "loyal companion of 13 years" to sleep. I would like to do something meaningful to show my support. Any suggestions?

How about giving her some sort of pet memorial gift? There are so many places online now where you can very easily and quickly put the photo of her beloved friend on a mug or a mousepad or even just placing it in a frame. You could also take her out for a cup of coffee or something and just listen. You are a good friend for wanting to help and I'm sure she will appreciate you just being there for her.
