Re: unexplained death of BrutusOne of my cats has always been allergic to his distemper shot. In 1995 he was neutered and given regular vaccinations. That night, he was lethargic and then coughing up blood all over the bathtub (he's all white too, so it was very noticable). It took 3 different vets 'till he was correctly diagnosed with this allergy. The Emergency Vet sent him home with stomach relaxers, etc... I finally went to the Kingstowne Cat Clinic in Alexandria, VA where they gave him cortisone and 24 watch and he was fine. "Stoli" is now 13 years old and still with me.
Maybe "Brutus" is allergic.
