Today at 11:20 am we said goodbye for the last time. She was 17 years, 2 months and 9 days old. Always a sweet girl, well behaved and never any trouble. I know in my heart it was the right thing to do. I just can’t imagine not seeing her face again or not having her greet me each day. I held her in my arms while she went to sleep. I only hope she knew how so very much I loved her and that she was not afraid.
