Pet Loss

Last night my cat, Jonah (6 years) was euthansized because he had effusive FIP Over the past few weeks I noticed significant weight loss and he wasn’t eating and sleeping on my bed all day. This was not typical. Thinking he had an illness that he would get treated for I was not overly concerned until the word “grave” was used. The vet said he wouldn’t not die that night but was a few days to a week from passing. I sat shocked at what I was supposed to do.
