Fleas, Ticks and Mites

Hi My Name Is Barbara im 20 years old i live in puerto rico, i have two adult boxers and my father and i are always on top of the dogs cause of the ticks it's been 4 days on top of them and there are coverd with ticks and i was wondering were do they come from???? why so manyyy?? im driving my self crazyy! can u guys help! pleaseee anything my email are [moderator note: e-mail addresses have been removed] hope to here from u guys have a nice day!!!
