i was wonder why i cant get house dust mites under stereomicroscope after flotation n centrifugation of dust 2 separate mites from dust..dust was collected from carpet via vacuum..after tat bring back 2 lab n store in refrigerator untill lab analisis..usually i store it 3months..does it consider too long?after that i will put the dust into a 50% ethanol wait 4 30min ..den the suspension was pour via 63um sieves..wet dust retain on the sieves was wash to a saturated NaCl solution for flotation...suspension was take to centrifuge and red color dye was put into teh centrifuge tube..i centrifuge for 10min withspeed of 15ooo rpm...after tat filtrate the solution via filter paper,..anyway i cant get any mites on the filter paper..can som1 help me 2 solves dis pblm?

oh..actually i m doin a study on dust mite but i hav som pblm becos i cant get any mites under stereomicroscope after all the step i had described in d forum last time...so i am very appreciate if som1 can gv me any idea here...

Hmmm, why not go and find some outfit that deals with termites etc for homes. Perhaps they can point you in the right direction. Your looking for something so microscopic even with my eyes I cannot see.
