Feline Leukemia Virus

I recently had to put my 10 year old cat to sleep due to feline lukemia [leukemia]. She seemed fine up until 5 days before she died. All of a sudden she could no longer walk, wouldnt eat, drink, or go to the bathroom. I didnt even know that this infection existed. I also have 2 6 month old kittens living in my house, they may have been infected just by sharing their food bowl or water or litter box.
