Just found out……that my partner’s cat has FeLV and is not doing well. He is not eating at all and we think it’s just a matter of a few days. Our question is, whether to let him die peacefully at home or putting him to sleep. Does anyone know what the cat is going through and what is the most loving, kind thing to do for him? Re: Just found out…i am sorry to hear the news. as much as you want your cat to be at home with you it is painful when their little bodies start shutting down. i would have him or her put to sleep peacfully and bring them home to be buried if possible. you can talk to them and pet them and be with them until they are gone.
