I adopted a 6 wk old kitten a week today & found out by the vet he tested positive for feline leukemia The reason I wanted to adopt a kitten was b/c I just lost my cat of 14 years to cancer. & I have a 2 year old cat who was just as sad as I. I have a cat with FELV and he has been living with my non-infected cats for almost two years now. Just make sure you get Minnie her annual FELV preventative shot.

I posted a story titled Leukemia Alternatives you might look at. Especially since your Mickey was suffering from an upper respiratory infection.
