Last January, I took in a stray kitten who within a couple of months, became lethargic one day and wouldn't move. I took him to my vet who euthanized him the same day. The next day, I took the love of my life to the vet and she was diagnosed with leukemia, however showed no symptoms. He prescribed Interferon for her which is in a liquid form that I put in her wet food every morning. She can't taste it. I also switched her dry food to Purina Naturals plus vitamins an minerals. I did this in hopes that it would help boost her immune system, since my personal research on this disease says she can be more prone to other diseases as well. Everyday I wake up and pray that she is still alive...I have no children, so she is my only baby. If you have learned anything else to do, please let me know. I just discovered this website today. Good luck to you!
