I just lost my sweet, loveable, Ira Jr. to this disease. I had never heard about it until the vet told me the awful news. I adopted him from a shelter in January. He was a little sickly then but with antiobotics he perked up and had a few good months. He would have been 6 months old this week.

Re: Ira Jr.hi i was just reading your post and well i have to say it bought me to tears you have same love as me for your babies and it hurts, prada is still with me at moment but i cant get him to eat today its like he wants to but cant he is just skin and bones and all he wants is mummy cuddles which he being getting lots of i get the occassional purr but not often from him i came home after work tonight and found that he had pee'd all over my bed i know it was him as my other 2 dont do it he has been sleeping with me in bed all week and doesnt want to get out in mornings iv had tray nearby but found him a few times in last few weeks eating the cat crystals out of the tray dont know why he has been eating them im going to ring my vet tomorrow and see if there is anything he can do his breathing isnt the best since he had his lungs drained of fluid 2 weekends ago hes been on antibiotics since then beginning of the week he wanted to eat but today another story im frightened that i cant get him back up the hill so to speak
