Feline Infectious Peritonitis

I adopted a 8 wk old female kitten from Paws. They spayed her. I brought her home 18 hrs later we were at the my Vets office.Cotton was very sick.For 7 days the Vet tried to everything including Baytril which may her almost blind and today we learned she has FIP and is sicker than ever. Cotton is no longer with us. I know now I will never adopt from a shelter again. Did I mentioned she was only 2.8 pounds when they spayed her.

Please don't hold that against all shelters. There are all kinds of shelters and some of them are wonderful. For the dogs & cats that stay there it is their only hope to be adopted out.
