I took my cat to a wonderful dental vet in arlington,tx dr. bonnie Bloom, [moderator note: phone number has been removed], she treated his stomotitis with steriod inj in his mouth and cleaned his teeth and she also found 2 masses in the back of his throat..she used a lazer to remove them , and he had chronic congestion..and I have seen a marked improvement in his congestion and he is now eating his food and the other cats food, he only used pain meds for 1 day and his mouth bleed a little after surgery...But 2 days later he is a new cat ..If anyone has this problem with chronic stomotitis.go see a vet the specializes in dental surgery..I wish I had done this a yr ago
