My wife and I recently adopted two kittens who are now about three months old. A week ago we took them both the the vet for a check up and to have them tested for internal parasites. The vet also did an FIV test and found a positive result for one of them.
The vet told us that the kitten had feline AIDS and should be separated from the other. She never said “might” and never told us that the positive test could have resulted from the cat still having her mother’s antibodie...Read the full article
