NUTMEG OUR TOP CATnutmeg deceided to adopted US 3 years ago when he started appearing around the garden to our hse, he was obviously a stray by his condition and was desperate for food and the occasional fuss at a distance. But over a period of 1 year with much patience and love he joined our family. He has been neutered but still continues to fight not forgetting his days earlier when the strongest survived. Re: NUTMEG OUR TOP CATHow is Nutmeg doing? A stray outdoorsy cat is a good candidate for FIV unfortunatly. All my FIV cats were strays, intact males. Yous aid he was diagnosed recently? Wasn't he tested when he was neutered? FIV cats can live long lives; keep him indoors, feed him well and try to keep secondary infections at bay.
