Bob/fiv/positive/diabeticI am at a cross roads. Bob is at least eight yrears old and I am now sure he has had fiv for quite some time. About a year ago I noticed his coat getting bad,losing its gloss, he wasn’t as quick on his feet and loss his desire to play,he was diagnosed diabetic. We wern’t perfect about the shots but got better and better at, he recently went through a very seroius infection and fiv wasn’t not diagnosed. Re: Bob/fiv/positive/diabeticHi Bob, the first thing that comes to mind is please let him go. I know what you are going thru. I have a5yr boy who is starting to show the same symptoms. I have gone thru the FIV testing and he is possitive, unfortunately, he also has some sort of auto immune problem that creates difficulties. I adopted him from a humane society 15 mos ago and this is the second episode. I am going to give it all I have but I can't help but think at your stage it is time to let go.
