Can anybody help me ? I have been taking care of a stray cat for 2 months now and her case is gradually worsening. In fact she suffers from feline Herpesvirus with a necrosis of her nose bone which is quite horrible to look at. She has virtually no nose at all !! And it is regularly bleeding. I'm working in a small town in Morocco and here it is not easy to find medicine and competent vets. I did find one who tried to help me. He gave her antibiotics (amoxicylline) for 2 weeks but she didn't improve. Unfortunately she is pregnant and lives outdoors...I can't bring her to my house because I've got 2 cats and I don't want them to catch her disease. Here the weather is terribly damp, which doesn't help ! She is living on my work place, in a nice safe garden. There is a shed and I put a box with nice towels and wool to keep her warm and safe from the rain. The vet could find some ronaxan and whe had it for 2 weeks. Then I went home for the christmas holidays and when I came back she wasn't well at all. I thought she would have had her babies but it doesn't seem so...She is big and has been so for more than 2 months now. I'm extremely worried. I brought back a box of Doxyval and gave it to her 2 days ago. She seems better and eats again but her nose is still bleeding and she has trouble breathing. She also coughs quite regularly. I don't want her to die but I'm more and more hopeless. Can you give me any advice ? The vet says we can't do anything else for her. She might live or die, according to her immune system and strength. I would like to help her breathe better. But I can't put her in a cage to inhale specific stuff because I just have 1 cage and it is my cats'. I don't want them to get ill. Well sorry for being so long but I needed to share this burden with somenone.
