Feline Herpesvirus

My cat hates cat nip. If a toy has it in he won't touch it. Just wondering if his illnes finds this smell repulsive. Anyone else have similar findings?

My cat has feline herpes (just discovered). he is regularly on antibiotics but have now started lysine paste which he loves. that seems to help a lot. he absolutely loves catnip and I now he's feeling better when he rolls in it so I don't think it has a negative effect.
