I adopted a nine-month old kitten, Miles, from a sketchy shelter nearly four years ago. I was lead to believe he was suffering from a respiratory infection but no, my vet informed me that my little Miles man actually was suffering from feline HERPES! No worries though, it’s really not a huge deal. Miles gets a small amount of wet food daily and in the wet food is a human dietary supplement known as L-Lysine. I crush a tablet everyday and he’s good as gold!
