Wellness Cat Food

Post a new topicby bhtl818 on Thu Sep 04, 2008 2:03 pm

I have four cats and their ages range from two to six. One of them has the Felineherpes Virus. They are indoor cats. One is male and the other three are female. They are currently on Special Kitty Indoor Formula dry food, but I don't like the ingredients in this food. I think they could be on a much healthier and nutritional diet. I have been doing some of my own research and am thinking about trying out the Wellness Indoor Health Formula.

Is Wellness a good brand to use for my cats? Does it have any cons I should know about before buying? Are the Healthy Indulgence Pouches from Wellness also a good choice for my cats?

Are there any other brands recommended with good results?

Thank you for any help you can provide! :)

I've used this food. Its good food. One of the best. I rotate between this and Blue buffalo, science diet-depending on whether I'm near Petco or Petsmart. I too, have a multiple cat household. These foods will make their fur so soft and almost eliminate the kitty box aroma-even for the urine (yes, you still have to scoop the poop). I am trying to get away from Corn and filler ingredients and trying to stay with more natural foods. I know science diet doens't fit that category, but every so often I have to change.
