Tank has always been a good-doer as far as eating goes, all 9 years of her life. Always eats all the food you give her. Over the weekend she stopped eating. She showed interest in the food, would pick it up, play with it in her mouth and then just drop it. We took her to the vet and she found nothing physically wrong with her (mouth and all), except when she felt her throat area the cat showed some resistence. She gave her a shot and she's on meds. I don't know how soon it should be working, but she's still not eating normally. I did get some treats into her so she got some form of nutrition rather than running on empty. What else could be the problem?
