Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture

Hi there,

My 8 month old puppy Akita has a torn Cruciate ligament.

Since he has had this he has become aggressive, snapping at me, and also friends who visit – this is totally out of character for my dog.

Just wondering if anybody else has had this same problem?

Yes, take your dog and have some surgery done on it. Since it is very young it has many years ahead of him and yes your dog obviously is in pain and does not want anyone touching it. Would you like others to touch your torn knee??? Getting the surgery you would be surprise on how fast the dog will recover since it is very young.
