Cranial Cruciate Ligament--strain

Post a new topicby jancb on Wed Jul 09, 2008 4:48 pm

Our one-year-old Labrador retriever/Ridgeback cross, was diagnosed with CCL strain. Thank goodness, not a rupture, but still...keep him quiet, no running, kept in a confined space. Oh, my. This will be a long six weeks! Can he not have short walks on a leash?

Any suggestions for him? Is he likely to have another incident? His sad brown eyes are killing us! He has to be one of the most well-cared for dogs going--we love him.
