confused about crucial ligament repair

Hi,
I too saw your story of your dog having a torn cruciate ligament. Several yrs. ago our Welsh Corgi, tore his ACL and had surgery (which was a little expensive, but necessary).
He did fine after surgery, was restricted for approx. 8 wks., but did well after that. More recently our female Corgi tore her ACL while running in the yard (2yrs.ago). She too
