hello,

I adopted a 7 week old black lab three days ago and have spent the last two commenting on how lazy he is.. Well early this morning about 1:30 he had a major seizure for about 3 minutes then whined and cried for anthor 20 minutes after. He went to sleep and had another one at 3:45 then again at6:00am I am worried to death. When I adopted him he had only had one worm med and a parvo vaccine. He is supposed to have the rest of his shots later this week but I am not sure he will make it that long. I am going to call the vet(emergency call) after daylight. To see what she recommends. The only thing I can find that is close is distemper and it has no cure.??? That's how I took it anyway.
Help me if you can. I love my new puppy and it breaks my heart to watch him seize this way.

hello, i also have this pup(mini pin) whom i only got for 2 days after he had seizures. i didn't know also wha to do, seeing him havin seizures breaks my heart too. I rushed him to the vet emergency clinic 2 o'clock in the morning. i had him confined for 5 days for obervation, he is suffering from distemper what symptoms haveyou seen wit your dog? good news is i' gonna get my pup this afternoon already. i hope you're dog will be fine too.
