Vaccination confusion

Post a new topicby csinclair on Tue Jul 15, 2008 9:12 am

My son has a one year old lab. When he was a puppy we didn't realize about distemper shots and he got the initial one and then a boaster at a later date but not at the 4 week time. At his one year check up he got a boaster. Is he okay with what he has gotten or should he go through the whole process like he had never had any shots or is he beyond that?

Your animal needs one more booster shot to be OK. It takes two full vaccination shots minimum to stay out of trouble in the beginning of their vaccine shot program and then a booster a year later and then every 3 years.
