Questions about My DOG POS DistemperHi. My dog is a Pitbull and is nine months old with no vaccination shots. I brought her to the Animal Hospital due to some coughing and not eating to well. So they took some blood and it came out to be she was Positive Distemper. About two weeks later she has been in good health as to when u was coughing and not eating. Now she eats and is just as active as she use to be and she has been supposably positive distemper for about 4 weeks now. Or is there more problems to come? Is it really distemper she has or what, or did she recover from it? Neew Help with this situation so any advice would be great.
Re: Questions about My DOG POS DistemperSimo, first of all you cannot get a confirm distemper from a blood test. You should take that dog back and print this out and give it to them which tells them how to confirm if your dog has distemper.
Why are you playing with danger???? The dog is what 9 months old and NO VACCINATION SHOTS??? Seriously if you really knew how deadly this Canine Distemper is, believe me you will rush to get that dog fully vaccinated. Also there is NO CURE for RABIES- Guaranteed FATAL. At least there is a Cure for Distemper as I now write. You must also guard against PARVO. This one is also very nasty and destroys the bone marrow for the WBC. ONE SIDE NOTE >> Do not vaccinate if the dog is SICK, it will not work and make matters worse. Only Vaccinate when the dog is healthy and has not problems. Now give them this>> The very best test for rapidly diagnosing ACUTE distemper is to do what is called a brush border smear of the cells of the inside lining of the bladder. These cells ALWAYS have inclusions. So, easy to collect, easy to stain (quick dip) and instantly diagnosed with inclusions in these cells. If present then Distemper. If not then something else. Diseases that mimic and is similar to Canine Distemper Chastek's Listeriosis Tularemia Histoplasmosis Poisonings If your dog is confirmed distemper you can save your dog. I have saved many dogs. I am with experts in the field of Distemper and VETS. Let me know the test results. After that we will cross the next bridge if needed. You can find my posting on the cure of Distemper here under the topic of Canine Distemper and under the title """"""For Any Cases of Confirmed Distemper""""" Everything is there for you to follow and to cure your dog. Just follow those instructions and everything will be ok. The revised post explains it a bit better with more information Trust me.
