i got a labrador pup wen he was 40 days old on 11th august 2008....15 days later he had swollen red eyes,nasal discharge,labored breathing,bad cough,loss of appetite,muscle twitching,,,,we took him to the doc,the doc confirmed it as symptoms of distemper ..the doc gav him allopathic treatment but my pup showed no signs of improvement....
den the doc advised him to gif homeopathic medicines...i m givin him bryonia alba 6,distemperinum c32,cuprum metallica 30,echinacea purpurea(mother tincture)....today is the 3rd day of his medicine....his cough has reduced considerably...also dere is reduction in eye swelling...the eye dischrge has reduced....
today he is 2 months and 3 days old....wat i really want to know is how effective are dese medicines??what is the rate of survival of puppies who contract distemper??will these medicines really work???or do u want me to give him something else???
also i am force feeding him...5 to 6 times a day...giving him all high quality food....giving him medicines along with regular care....what should i do to help my dog recover soon....??

There is only one way to stop Canine Distemper. Homeopathic medicines and that other crap does you no good and you are wasting nothing but money.

Newcastle's Disease Virus Vaccine of the LaSorta Strain is the only one in your case that will cure and stop this disease. You have to do first the injection in the body and then treat for pneumonia for 7 days and then do the NDV-CSF tap.
