NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS REGARDING VACCINES

Post a new topicby Daveyo on Sat Dec 01, 2007 7:28 am

For anyone reading this, most VETS will not tell you that these vaccines are powerful and strong indeed.

The current vaccines today of which VETS have when you go to the VET Doctor are mainly designed in giving a full dose to 60 pound dogs!!!!!!!

Smaller dogs like the Doxies etc., are supposed to get 1/2 dose shots 14 days apart, and not the full one shot dose. Be advised to keep the dose 1/2 shot when giving to a small dog. OK

So if your dog weighs under 60 pounds, do 1/2 dose shots when you vaccinate them and give 14 days before giving them the other 1/2 dose to complete their full VAC SHOT. Small dogs do get serious reactions to full doses. It is like hitting them with a heavy book and expect their system to handle it.

This is now confirmed after checking around and from Dr. Sears.

I wanted to post this to advise unsuspecting dog owners because VETS will not tell you this.

Also I will POST the names of dogs that CANNOT handle VACCINATION SHOTS, because the shots itself will KILL THEM.

So before you get a new dog, please cross check the upcoming list to be on the safe side.

Please do not make any posts here on this notice or respond to this post. This is for your information to help you obtain more knowledge of about Vaccines.
