Canine distemper; cure for CNS affected?Hi All,
My dog is 2 years old now and got infected with Canine Distemper It is 40 days now with the infection, my vet has recommended Gardenal tablet 30mg per day initially and we have reduced it to 15 mg per day now. For the first 3 weeks we spoon feeded the dog and now it is able to eat by itself and we provide lot of healthy food. Earlier when the disease started he had nose, eye discharge and muscle twitching(convulsions) over his dead. Now with muscle twitching, slight head shaking and weekness on the first 2 legs are there. But he is not at all active, just wants to lay down always, but eats well. From one of the post I read that there is even a cure for CNS attack, please help me in getting the vaccine.I am in India, I can pay online. Please reply back ASAP. Thanks & Regards Sundar

Re: Canine distemper; cure for CNS affected?Hi Daveyo,
Please help me out. I have joined as a member in caninedistempercure.com.But yet to get approval, so posting the details here. MY dogs case is this 1.It had very high fever before 45 days. 2.After 10 days of fever, he started showing muscle twitching(convulsions) on his back head. 3.Also he had eye and nose discharges.Nose skins were hard and his footpads were also hard. 4.My vet treated him with Gardenal(30 mg) saying that it will try to stop the diseace progressing. 5.We had a feeling that he his responding to the treatment, because he started eating by himself. Right now this is the situation we have in hand. For the past 1 week, * He is eating well. * But it seems the CNS attack has progressed and he is not able to walk properly but still walks. * He is getting lot of salivation, but yet to get Paralysis/seizure. Now, I would like to get this serum by Dr.sears.I believe it is NDV La sorta vaccine. Please help me in getting this in INDIA, city : chennai. Suggest me places where I can get it. Thanks Sundar
