Can pregnant dogs be vaccinated?

We have just seen our dog mating with a male dog who is recovering from Distemper but still has constant spasms. I have read that it is possible to inject dogs with the Distemper vaccine up to 4 days after being exposed to the virus. Is this ok to do even if she is pregnant?
