My Parents got Candy from a dog farming place outside of shields (newcastle). This was a 3 hour drive for them even though the fliers sed that they delivered. But as we live in leeds we didnt think they would. My patents paid £375 for Candy which was a Pedigree King Charles Spaniel. Like all people we fell in love with her the moment she came home. I am sorry to read your demise on your Candy. Your dog was suffering from Canine Distemper, and the diagnosis given from the VETS was terrible and way off base. They should go back to VET School or be put out of business as well.

As of the breeding place SUE THEM AND SHUT THEIR DOORS PERMANENTLY.

I suggest you read up on the material on the websites regarding the Canine diseases. Quite infromative and they also tell you what signs show for the various diseases.

Canine Distemper > now there is a cure NewCastles Disease Virus Serum of the LaSota strain.
Canine Parvovirus > Tamiflu and IV saves them
Canine Leptospirosis
Canine Hepatitis > this disease attacks the kidneys and liver
Adenovirus CAV 1 and CAV 2
Bordetella (Kennel cough) > controls against pneumonia as well
Parainfluenza
Coronavirus > this controls bad diarrhea on the dogs
Lyme Disease > all dogs get the ticks and ticks carry diseases even to humans as well.
Rabies > be sure to vaccinate them because there is absolutely no cure at the moment. VERY BAD

THIS IS THE BIG TEN all canine owners should vaccinate their dogs to protect them

Vaccinate these dogs yearly minimum. Do not believe others that say it is not necessary.

Drontal Plus for older dogs and Drontal for puppies is the best de-worming meds to give them and it also protects them from HEARTWORM.
