Re: Surviving Possible DistemperYour dog did not have Distemper based on your article here. Consider yourself lucky if what you say is true. Still I would do that bladder smear test just to be on the safe side. Distemper is very sneaky. If your dog is fully recovered get those shots now into that dog. If it runs a fever after the first vaccination shot within a few hours later, then you best get that test done pronto.
