I took 2 male dobe puppies from a breeder friend in exchange for one singleton female puppy out of frozen semen.They were wormed,one set of shots.Two days after they were in my home they had bloody stools live worms.

Don't give any shots. Any animal that is sick the shots will not work.

Do the tests. It sounds like canine distemper because it does have fever readings and the goop goes in the eyes.

Go to the vet and have this test done to confirm if Distemper or not.

The very best test for rapidly diagnosing ACUTE distemper is to do what is called a bush border smear of the cells of the inside lining of the bladder. These cells ALWAYS have inclusions. So, easy to collect, easy to stain (quick dip) and instantly diagnosed with inclusions in these cells. If present then Distemper. If not then something else.

You can do the ocular testing to see if and what disease is present, but to confirm distemper you must do the above at the vet.

If your dog is confirmed distemper you can save your dog. I have saved many dogs. I am with experts in the field of Distemper and VETS.
