My LuckyHi! I have 3 puppies who were diagnosed with canine distemper 2 of them died and the other one name Lucky is trying to fight off the disease. He is just 2 months old and it is really heart breaking to see him suffer the disease. We thought that he would die but until now he is still fighting. We do pray that he recovers from it though we are fully aware that chances of surviving the disease is slim, still we are hopeful. I just want to share my story to all of you and hope that this inspires al...Read the full article
Re: My LuckyHi Lyn,
There is something you can do if you catch it early enough. Dr. Sears says there's a 6 day window from when symptoms first appear but my dog, Carmella went much longer than that and this treatment still worked for her. You might want to read at Dr. Sears' official new site; http://www.treatment4distemper.com/ where he has information and answers questions. If your current vet is open-minded then he might be willing to try it. You can print out the exact protocol there (look in the section for vets). That will explain what it is and how it works. If your vet is not willing to try this then you should print out lists of local vets near you and just start making cold calls and fax or e-mail them the material and links. That's what I had to do for the second part of the treatment which required more skill than the first to treat the Central Nervous System. I had to put in alot of time to save my dog's life because most vets have never heard of this, but it paid off and now I will have her for many more years. I'm not sure where you're located but I live in Stone Mountain, GA. (near Atlanta). Carmella's main vet who did the body cure is in Stone Mountain and the one who did the treatment for brain and spinal cord is located in Atlanta. I hope you are able to get help for your dog right away.
