My Little Angel Archer

Post a new topicby livingwith on Fri Apr 18, 2008 1:06 pm

We just got Archer, a very cute pug, about 5 weeks ago. He’s 7 months old. He’s my 4th dog. I have 2 other pugs and 1 golden retriever. When we got him, he was perfectly active. But the very next day, we noticed he had some discharge on his nose.
Whenever I get dogs I always make sure I have them checked by the vet the very day we get him. At first, they treated him for colds. A few days later, he started coughing. During this time he had diarrhea as well and it takes us at least 2...Read the full article

Sorry to hear of your ordeal. Be advised if your other dogs are not vaccinated that this disease is also going to nail them too.

Under no cirumstances do you vaccinate a dog while it is sick. Please keep this in mind.

NDV is the only means to save dogs from Distemper and Dr. Sears and I have a huge success rate ongoing. I also had 3 dogs myself having this disease, and all three are healthy as a horse can be and they are fine and two of them still recovering because the disease hit the CNS badly.

There is only one test that is cheap, and extremely very accurate and that is doing the brush border bladder smear test. The inclusions of the cells having the virus will show up plain as can be if the dog is infected and this test only takes 20 minutes.

What can I say of the VETS, the vast majority of them are totally ignorant of this Disease and they do need to go back to school again. The mis-diagnosing of these VETS is so bad they have a batting average of only 100 or less whereas mine is 1,000. Saved every dog that came to us Dr. Sears and I physically. The cure is 12 to 24 hours both for the body and for the CNS.

I strongly do suggest you get your other dogs checked very quickly if not vaccinated. Any vaccination to any animal when HEALTHY takes 14 days before it becomes effective. So remember this please.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, we had to euthanise Archer. He had several seizures already and he could barely get up. My 2 other dogs are with my mom. We had to leave them there once we found out Archer had colds (which was the first day we got him). I have one with me still and we're closely monitoring all of them for any signs. I am hoping she's fine but after that ordeal with Archer, I've become more cautious. It's sad. We had him euthanised yesterday and I didn't have time to mourn over our loss. I immediately disinfected the whole house, cleaned everything and threw away his toys and pillow. The dog with me now is Chanel, she is a 1 year old pug. She's the one who was exposed to Archer during the first week or two that we got her. So far, I don't see any signs on her, but then again, I'm always checking and I'm having her tested. Chanel has been with me the longest and I don't know what I'll do if the same thing happens to her. She's a fat and happy dog.:-) Do you think there's a good chance she'll get it? I mean from your experience. Do you have any suggestions?

Ok now listen to me carefully. You have three dogs.

Answer this question > Are all of them fully vaccinated and up to date??

If so, then you need not worry. If not, you best worry because it does not take much for that virus to hit your dogs. A simple contact of the infected animals fluids either from saliva or licking to the body, or inhalation of that virus into their lungs is all that is needed to infect them. The one with you and the other two with your mother.

So answer this question right away. Pronto

When you cleaned everything I hope you used bleach of 1/30 with water. Bleach kills the virus upon contact. Any furniture you have make sure it is put right into sunlight. Sunlight kills this virus as well and you need minimum one day on it.

Before getting any other dogs you have to wait minimum of 30 days. The virus can linger for up to 2 weeks in dormant state.

In the meantime do not vaccinate until you answer my question above.

All their vaccines are up to date. Chanel, the one that was exposed to Archer longer, just had her vaccine last January. My vet also gave her a serum that he said is an antibody for distemper

With the disinfectant, I used lysol. I have exposed his cage and his bag to sunlight since yesterday. Please let me know if the lysol wouldn't work. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

Hmmmm, based on reading of what your VET is doing and I will tell you the honest truth. That VET has absolutely no knowledge nor does he or she know what they are doing. So for what it is worth, count them out of the belief that they are VETS as far as I am concerned. That serum they gave you was absolutely WORTHLESS, and in fact put your dog in further danger believe it or not. There is only one kind of serum that exists that can destroy this virus and only 1 yes just 1 Doctor has it right now and its called Serum X because the Doctor and I have not given it a name. Furthermore we cannot transport this serum due to USA regulations, which to me is bla bla, but again homeland security???? big deal because this will not spread in the open. This Serum is by far better than the NDV which can be used again for other Diseases, whereas the NDV can only be used one time for the body and only one time for the CNS. NDV on the other hand works much faster and really it is supposed to be used as a last resort when all else fails trying to make the serum. This serum is NDV Serum antibodies. Not Distemper antibodies. What your VET was doing was ADDING MORE DISTEMPER TO YOUR DOG. This is not what you want. You want a certain amount of antibodies in the dogs immune system to basically get the snapshots of what this virus is and for it to build up its own natural defense against the disease. This is the purpose of vaccine, however I do not like the modified live version because of its higher potential to make a Real Distemper case. Furthermore adding Live Distemper Virus with live Parvo Vaccine is a very deadly combination for dogs. I prefer the killed virus versions which is far safer and less deadly. Last of all Parvo and Distemper should never be given together but again these vaccine makers know that and yet still continue to sell the darn thing after being told time and time again.

As of your dog Chanel getting it in January, your out of the woods. I did a small calculation here for you, and you got Chanel under the protection wrap by a good 3.5 weeks ahead of your deceased dog give or take. Remember it takes 14 to 21 days for the vaccine to peak and give full immunity. So I assumed you had Chanel vaccinated say sometime late January, which puts you in the safe window around mid February. You must have gotten the deceased dog sometime early March.

Now the next thing I am also going to assume that Chanel just got the booster since you mentioned the dog is now 1 year old. OK good. You do not have to vaccinate Chanel again until year 2011. Good for 3 years. Understand. If any VET tells you otherwise, then show them the sandbox and tell them to work it out themselves being instructed by a cat. OK

In answer to your question Lysol is not the one and does not kill VIRUS. It is only a disinfectant and kills just a little bacteria but not much. You must use BLEACH WITH WATER. Bleach kills virus and bacteria like no tommorrow. Hardly anything of virus or bacteria survive from BLEACH. Example get a Clorox bottle about like 285 mils which should be good for a 5 gallon pail. 1 bottle per 5 gallons. Ok, then use a mop and do the floors first. After that let it dry. Then you can use lysol to drown out the bleach smell if it bothers you. The one bad thing about Bleach is, it wipes off colors and leaves a nasty look to it. If it was my way, I would rather prefer to use bleach to clean my clothes but can only do it on my whites.

Next dog you get make sure you immediately do the brush border smear of the inside bladder lining. If the inclusions show up the dog has definite distemper Always do this test as your priority and the Parvo check. Call the VET first if he knows how to do it. They should but don't be surprise when they tell you there is no such test. It is one of the very basic trainings that they should have received from VET School. Keep calling until you find one. That one then you can trust. The one thing about this test is inside the bladder lining the virus loves this area. No antibodies are present here, just the virus. That is why this is so accurate.

Kennels are one of the biggest breeders of diseases believe it or not. There is one disease if one dog has it, all of them have it and it will never go away. I don't want to tell you that one. Trust me. Don't forget your furniture too and give it sunlight. Best Dx for your house.

Daveyo.

Sorry for responding late. Was doing some electrical and mechanical work here in the house.

Thank you so much! That makes me feel better. And yes, I will surely clean the house again and use clorox this time. I'm not sure about getting another dog yet. It kinda traumatized me. It's hard to let go. Maybe when I've moved on with what happened to Archer, I will. As for now, I'll give my attention to my 3 dogs, Chanel, Shake, and Cookie. And I will remember everything you've told me. I'll be more careful from now on. Again, thank you! BTW, did I tell you I'm from the Philippines? Well, I am. We don't even have those big animal hospitals here, but I will try to find a vet that can do that bladder smear test the next time I get a dog. Thanks!

Oh your from the Philippines!!!!! So was my wife from Quezon City.

Yes there is a doctor in the Philippines who knows that tap procedure and bladder test procedure and has the NDV as well. His name is Dr. Loubinar. I will have to look it up but can tell you in my web site. Not wise to do it here since they frown on that a bit. You can go to www.caninedistemper.proboards60.com

Register there and write a post under Distemper and I will provide you the details on how to get in touch with Dr. Loubinar. He is the only one that has an interest in our work.

By the way, do check the other two dogs also. Watch them carefully for any signs of this disease. You have not provided any data here to me regarding them. So I do not know if they are fully vaccinated or not.

Oh yeah, the other two dogs are vaccinated. Shake had her vaccine a little earlier than Chanel. And Cookie, my golden retriever had hers around january too. By the way, one more question, Since Chanel and the other dogs are well vaccinated, is it possible that they still carry the virus and might infect other dogs who aren't well vaccinated? I just want to make sure coz I don't want to put anybody else in the same situation that we were in.

I will register on the website now. Thanks!

To answer your question > the virus is always around and goes from one dog to another just like the flu bug in humans as an example. The dogs that are vaccinated the virus will enter but will be killed off instantly before it has a chance to get a foothold on the lymph nodes. Give credit for the vaccine because that vaccine gave the animal a snapshot of this virus telling the immune system this is the bad boys. So when the real McCoy virus does enter, the immune system kicks in very quickly and does the pow wow to the virus and neutralizes anything that would keep it alive.

Now when this same virus enters the animal not vaccinated it will have a field day and that is the result of Archie. The immune system does not even know it is the bad boys and by the time it really realizes that hey we have an intruder here that virus overwhelms the immune defenses of the dog and over taxes it because the virus has multiplied so much it is like well you have 500 of the infantry and your facing 20,000 of your enemy, and that is why the virus wins. Yes the 500 will put up a valiant fight but eventually it is overcomed from the virus.

The NDV on the other hand puts the dogs defense system into super hyper drive making cytokines at a lightning speed and creates an army to vend off the virus and kill it. The NDV basically will find a hole or an area that is not infected yet by the virus and plants itself there and multiplies 10 times as fast as a virus can do. Once it fills up it then spreads out quickly like a tsunami wave. Hence the cure being so rapid. Also a side benefit of NDV it creates and changes the animals C4 humoral to C4 25 humoral increasing the immune system 20 times better.

This is the best way I can describe to you how the NDV works in the body portion. Now in the CNS it is a different ballgame. The NDV basically replicates itself same super hyper drive making cytokines as well but changes the spinal fluid and brain fluid to some degree and as another side benefit it tells the immune system to quit making the deadly C4 T cells thus putting this progression into check and fixes up the damage the virus caused to the autoimmune system and still does the job of killing the virus by itself at the same time. We do not know too much of what happened to the fluid itself or what it did overall in the CNS but we do know it stops the progression which leads to ODE and kills the virus and vacates the imminent death sentence from ODE. The dogs having seizures will not die but the seizures itself is different. A dog without the NDV getting seizures, every time it has one the brain gets damage more and more. A dog with NDV and gets seizures will not have brain damage. The neuron receptors in the brain go haywire from the previous damage cause by the distemper virus, and the NDV has put a barrier to any further damage caused by neuron receptors going haywire thus vacating the imminent death sentence. How to repair the neuron receptor control section in the brain is still unknown since this is all new and only been recently discovered by me and Dr. Sears. We will be getting some MRI scans done to spot the lesion area. Once we see this then we will know precisely where and what part of the brain causes seizures both for humans and animals. Why because the NDV created a barrier of further damage and protects the brain and spinal cord. In doing so, now we might be able to figure out how to fix this problem and zero in the exact spot. No need to worry about the deadly C4 T cells in the CNS because it has been shut down by the NDV. Like a light switch. Before the NDV was injected this light switch was turned on by the immune system defenses. Once NDV enters, this switch gets turned off. How it is able to do this we don't know because we cannot see what is happening to a live animal without killing it. Researchers cannot duplicate this scenario in a lab because it is impossible to do so.

They will be able to find this out after the dog expires naturally on their own and do such autopsy. I so happens to have the only 2 known dogs to literally survive and surpass the ODE death sentence. If this progression was continuing on my 2 dogs, they would have been dead back in November last year (2007). Now it is almost May of 2008 and they are alive and getting better each month. Every day is a new day in history in the making. In 2 more weeks I will be cracking the 6 month barrier with these 2 dogs.

No dog ever has survived past the ODE stage and once it begins death is certain in 14 days or less, especially seizures of which you have seen yourself, and if paralyzed they suffocate to death in less than 14 days.

My dogs have lived past their certain death sentence back in November by leaps and bounds. Researchers in Mayo clinic in Minnesota are very interested in this because of the same affecting humans having MS.

Medicine today is a business itself. It is not free exchange as it was years ago. For Mayo to find out the answers from me, it is going to cost them plenty since I will approach it as a business aspect and nothing short of it. Heads are going to roll in this area and the pressure will be intense against me. Why???? because I am holding the Holy Grail not only for dogs but for humans as well. Dr. Sears is holding the Holy Grail for the body portion which is his Serum and its data as well. The NDV has been around for a super long time yet no researcher has made an attempt to examine it doing it lab wise because it is impossible to get this virus in the outside to live long enough to see what NDV does. I was lucky to get it (the virus) to last 5 minutes to see NDV destroy this virus from an electron microscope. So far that is the best we can do. Once outside of the host the virus usually goes dormant and sometimes goes stealth thus negating NDV activity to the virus itself. Hence the virus being able to travel 20 miles or 32 kilometers. Yes it can affect dogs that far away and travel via the wind. Keep in mind it is an airborne virus.

A very smart virus indeed. Now I think you're beginning to understand just how deadly this virus is and how good it is against adverse conditions.

The only way Dr. Sears and I figured about this virus and to stop it is SPEED. We needed to come up with something that has phenominal speed to kill the virus because of its incredible capabilty overall resisting anything making an attempt to kill it or stop it.

That is why for years all Doctors have been told that there is no cure against this Disease. Well, Dr. Sears and I have changed that picture probably for good and can claim a pure medical cure against this disease and virus. Nothing Voodoo about it. Pure and simple. Cytokines created by the NDV (but we do not know which cytokine it is) because there are many of them each having different DNA genetics. Cytokines are created at the time of its application, and the genetics of the host, and the type of virus it is designed to work on.

NDV is a virus itself!!!!!!!!! Newcastles Disease Virus!!!!! go figure. What we have here is a virus attacking another different kind of virus!!!!!! Now for NDV to win it has to develop a different cytokine as I said above. What I have done was inserted a different kind of virus into the CNS!!!!! Viola another different kind of Cytokine was developed and presto it wins.

Now if I take a sample of this spinal fluid after the NDV and asked them to test for Newcastles Disease Virus antibodies, they will not find a huge number of it blowing out the figures right out the door. They will see zero. What will blow out the door is they will find Newcastles Disease Virus but no antibodies of this virus. They will come back to me saying this fluid is infected with a virus. Yet the CNS tolerates this virus but not the Distemper Virus. Why???? Again we do not know. If I applied this virus again to the same dog in the CNS, like 21 days or more later after the first one then the antibodies will show up and this will cause a immune cascade problem because now the autoimmune system is taking a snapshot of this virus and will consider NDV as an intruder. Same for the body portion.

In regards to the serum the opposite happens. The serum is NDV antibodies serum. Works superb in the body portion and can be used for other applications with no ill effects. We have not tried this to the CNS but I am willing to bet it will do the very same like NDV does, but I have reservations because now your injecting antibodies and not a virus. Different ballgame. I would rather find some stray dog and hope it becomes my hero to give me that answer. If the serum antibodies kill that dog, then I will know the only option is NDV for CNS. Serum or NDV for the body only.

Technically the spinal fluid is supposed to be virus and antibody free from foreign agents. Pure and clean for a proper functional state. Yes antibodies are inside but it is the defense antibodies that make its rounds on a perpetual basis and does this full time 24 hours a day. The defense antibodies are scouts and scanners and nothing more. Like spies in the sky. The real defense is the C4 T Cells that is designed to attack a foreign invader inside both for the body and the CNS.

So if one of those antibody spies see a foreign agent cell, it reports back to autoimmune system by kicking off certain proteins causing the alarm to sound. Once notified, the autoimmune system then releases the deadly C4 T cells. Viola begins the battle. The only big problem is with the C4 T cells,it continues to attack beyond its main purpose and also destroys the myelin and Schwann cells thus going wild anything that the Distemper virus touched. Distemper virus itself has touched just about everything and every cell inside. Hence the progressive state of this disease. The only way it will stop is when it does not find any more cells that were touched by the virus. By that time the animal is already DEAD.

Enough said in explaining it in laymans terms. tired and will sleep for awhile now.
