i have talked to the vet and he said its not yet avaiable here in the philippines.... and i dont know how to get that since its not available here in the philippines... pls help me..
Well as of now ONYX is taking vit C, calcium, iron and vit e, and also vit B complex and also some herbal medicines. SHe is ok now, her hard foot pads returned to smooth and also she has less eye discharges and her appetite is good. she is already 9 months old turning 10 this October 21, 2007. Im really concern about her muscle spasm and her chewing. is there still hope that she will be healed completely?

You can order them online also they are marketed by the brand name Vi-Proplus, it is a premade concotion of the same homeopathic medicines for distemper.

The mucle twitching and chewing will reduce but I am not sure if completely it will go away, my dog has recovered 90% but for a slight twitching and chewing which does not hamper any of his activity at all. It has been now over 6 months since he contracted distemper.

You must make your dog walk in wet mud or grass it will help to strenthen the paws and make them completely normal again ( my vet had suggested this ). I take my dog for a run in the park every morning at 4am so that he can run around in the morning dew, which has benefited him immensely.

One thing more, you need to be strong and believe in the power of healing, as that is also what your dog will feel thru you. Keep talking to your dog as much as possible and keep reassuring her that she will be fine soon that will be a great moral booster to her.

Bani thank you for your help, Well ive asked some vets here and animal hospitals but all of them said its not yet available. But when i find that homeopathic meds or the Vi-proplus ill buy it for my onyx.
As of now she is improving day by day. I walked her everyday, early morning before i go to school and also in the afternoon when i got home. Its good that infront of our house is an open field near a river and also i let her walk in muds like you said and some rocky road.
Anyway is she still contagious? i have 2 other dogs ( complete and updated vaccination)
