Re: Me and MaeYou can save your dog. You need to find Newcastle Disease Virus vaccine. You can find this at any agriculture center or store that is around your area. VETS do not carry this. If you have a telephone book look under agriculture and you should find it someplace in the book and its location. Call them and ask them where there is some Newcastle Disease Virus Vaccine the LaSorta Strain. It is not expensive. Depending how much your dog weighs if it weighs over 25 pounds you need to get extra NDV. Each vial will hold up to 3.0cc of solution for a 30 pound dog.
I suggest you buy 3 or more depending on the weight of your dog. You will be needing at least 1 vial later if you are outside of the 4-6 day window of canine distemper onset. Dosage is 0.1cc for every pound or 2.2kg. A dog weighing 10 pounds or 22kg will require 1.0cc of NDV. If between weigh numbers add another 0.1cc of NDV. Time is of essence and most critical. You need to inject to the blood stream and the cure is 12-48 hours. Go under the topic of Canine Distemper here and look for this title """"For Any Cases OF Confirmed Distemper""""""" and all my instructions are there and follow it to the exact instructions. If you need help contact me here. Now go find that NDV and save your dog. I will be watching for your posts here if you need me and my help. I SAVE DOGS.
Re: Canine distemper infected street doghi,
i read ur post. it is very promising. i know a street dog which is infected with canine distemper. i personally took a vet and gave that street dog a shot of canine distemper and a rabbies vaccination. it was kinda of expensive on my pocket. but i am happy that, it has improved the dogs condition a little bit. the dogs condition is as follows: i dont see it much. i work in night shifts. i see that dog only when i come to office, i.e. 5 days a week. i feed him biscuits. its teeth are kindoff screwed up. the gums are disintegrating. he had a lot of muscular fits before, but after the shots they have reduced to an extent. but still it has some sort of spasms sometimes. see i cant spend much time on this street dog. but can provide medical help. i did not report this dog to blue cross dog society that we have here, as they will euthanize / kill the dog. i read ur post and will enquire about this Newcastle Disease Virus Vaccine the LaSorta Strain. i stay in India. could u give me more detailed information regarding this NDV vaccine. whr to get and all. lastly one more question? Can a dog survive canine distemper? bcos the vets i met they say it will die sometime later as the health worsens. Thanks and Regards, Girish Ramnath
Re: Me and MaeOh boy your in India. Ok here is the deal
Please look under this topic Canine Distemper go to peer to peer and then look at the list and find the following>>>For Confirmed Canine Distemper Cases (revised Post) Everything is there. To find NDV LaSorta strain you need to go and find a poultry agriculture store. NDV is used for Chickens by the way. If you tell them you want it for the dogs they will ask you a lot of questions. Try to get as much of it as you can because it is really not that expensive but it is a lifesaver in the long run. Now you need to understand what this Disease is really all about. I have in my site an extensive amount of information and pictures to show you what the virus looks like etc. Also pics and stories of dogs that were saved. It is at [moderator note: website address has been removed] This is my site and you need to register to see all this. Once you study everything in that site, plus see the medical protocols on how to treat this disease and understand it then it will be easier for you to recognize the signs of such and know how to treat this on a case by case basis. Be careful of giving modified live virus Parvo to that dog. You can give it the killed virus version which is safer. Parvo vaccine opens up the blood brain barrier. I suspect the dog has the virus inside the CNS. You probably will need to do the tap because eventually it will die from Old Dog without it. When this will happen I have no idea. As of the teeth, yes Distemper ruins the teeth enamel big time and it needs dental work. If possible see if you can find a dog dentist to do some work for the animal because once the teeth are gone it will be very hard for the dog to survive in the wild. Very few dogs survive canine distemper and if they do, they have a host of problems and its really bad. I would rather that they really be expired than see them suffer like that daily. Less than 5% make it and survive on their own. Mortality is nearly 98% without getting the NDV in their system. Please study my information at my site and get yourself familiar with it. This Disease is one of the worst kinds to animals and the public is slowly starting to wake up to its nasty effects. Let me know if anything has been helpful.
