Canine Distemper

Girl Lee is our beautiful Lab/Pit mix. When we found her, we thought she had a cold, so we took her to the vet to get it cleared up so we could get her spayed. Turns out she had distemper–the vet gave her a 25% chance of survival. We decided to give her a chance. The vet prescribed antibiotics, and took off her flea collar. Update on Girl Lee.
It's been almost a year since she got sick.
She is doing really well. I've never had a more loving dog.
Her nose and foot pads have healed, you can't tell there was ever anything wrong with them.
The only problem she has is her breathing sometimes, but that is due to an injury she sustained as a stray.
I know she is happy to be alive every day.
