Bubba’s StoryOne week prior to christmas 2008 my 33 y/o dau. presented us with a chocolate lab which was repordedly 8 wks old. The pup was very small and probably only 5/6 wks of age. Unlike most pups , this one was not active, had bow legs and a noticable awkward walk. I thought maybe he had hip dysplaysia.
After christmas I took Bubba to a vet for shots, he hd three small feet and one large foot, and two open sores on his nose. The vet examined him and gave a prescripton of anti-biotic and steroids to mak...Read the full article
Re: Bubba's StoryHi,
You can definitely save your Lab. I along with the allopathic medicines was also giving my labrador homeopathic medicines and now he is absoloutely hale and hearty. The homeopathic medicines you need to give together as a concoction are 1. Distemperinum C30 or 32 whichever you can get - 7 -8 drops 2. Echinacea purpurea - 7 -8 drops 3. Bryonia C6 - 5-6 drops Mix them together in a small container with a teaspoon of lukewarm water and give it to your dog after every hour for at least 30 days and then after that after every 3 hours. I am sure your Bubba will recover, all my love to your dog, your dog needs you now like never before, be his best friend. Your love and care will pull him through. Wish Bubba a speedy recovery. Re: Bubba’s StoryGreetings
I am Daveyo and I read your story here. First antibiotics and homoepathic medicines is not going to stop a VIRUS, as deadly as Canine Distemper will ever be. According to your story, your dog is past the 6 day window of which you personally saw your dog fall down sideways. You are at the neurological stage now. You have already stated the obvious clinical signs of this disease. No doubt about it. Ok, I will tell you this that there is only one kind of authentic medicine that will cure your animal completely in 24 hours. Yes, 24 hours and you need the full cooperation of your VET to follow the medical protocol. You must find Newcastles Disease Virus Vaccine of the LaSorta Strain. Get yourself 3 vials and it comes with diluent. Next you weigh your dog. The Dx is 0.1cc of NDV for every pound or 0.45kg. OK .. If between the weights add another 0.1cc of NDV. Then take the dog and shave the front leg so you can see the blood vein. Get your NDV which is in powder form and take the liquid diluent and based on the weight of your dog take out the necessary diluent and put into the NDV vial. Mix it a bit. Then take out all the contents inside that NDV vial and go to the dog. Then take the syringe and insert it to the vein, and draw the plunger back a little to see if you can get blood into the syringe. If you see the blood, then inject all of that NDV, then pull out and then sterilize the puncture mark on the leg. Now the most important phase and step is you have to have a CSF tap done to cure this animal in the central nervous system. NDV will not cross the blood brain barrier, so this has t be done manually. OK Now the VET needs to follow the proper steps that I have on my site at www.caninedistemper.proboards60.com. Go to the distemper section after you register, and look for the medical protocol. Click on the folder concerning the CSF tap procedure. It is all there for your VET and he simply has to take a look at your dog and determine its SIZE not the weight. The size of the animal determines the Dx of NDV to inject to the foramen Magnum (cerebral Cranial Cavity). He should know where this is. Also make sure this VET has the ultra sound which makes his or her job 10 times easier so not to make a mistake. OK Once this animal is properly prepared, and is set for the tap, take the required amount of Saline into the syringe and put into that NDV vial. Mix it, and then go to the animal and withdraw the required amount from the spinal fluid, and discard the excess into another vial to send to a lab for confirmation of Distemper, and leave the remaining amount in that syringe and then go to the NDV vial and then take all the contents out into that same syringe containing the spinal fluid. Mix both the spinal fluid and NDV and then put back into the spinal cord. After this take 0.1cc o saline to flush out the needle hub . Make absolutely sure there is no air in that syringe OK. Once all this is done then wait until the animal wakes up. When it wags its tail and can at least stand up, you can take it home. The cure for both the body and in the CNS will take minimum of 12 hours to 24 hours. Once this is achieved, your animal will live and if given time it will recover just anybody else who does from an operation. Time is your best friend in this case. On the other hand please do read on >>>>>> On the other hand if this animal is not treated, you can be certain of two things which are absolutely guaranteed. Once the final initial chewing gum and neurological factors set in like paralysis, the odds are very slim indeed for it to survive and it will die. Secondly, > if this animal does survive the severe neurological initial attack (which only about 3-5% worldwide do) meaning the mortality rate is around 97% minimum, it will again encounter the full ODE phase sometime later between 2 wks to 8 years depending on its genetics, and at that time it will be too late to save the animal at all. The neurological damage will be way too severe. So you have a choice either to get your animal cured once and for all, or face the deadly consequences of what Canine Distemper will do to your animal. Plain and simple, and that is what your dealing with right now. After you give the NDV to the body you will need to treat the secondary infection which is Pneumonia. Do not get the dog wet all all during this time for minimum 1 month. You must give 0.5cc of Baytril and 1.0cc of Penicillin G mixed together every 12 hours (twice a day) for minimum 7 days straight. This pretty much will cure a bacterial infection which is pneumonia. Keep in mind of these two things. Bacterial diseases or infections is taken care of by ANTIBIOTICS. Viruses Diseases is taken care of by VACCINES. Vitamins is garbage against diseases and does nothing at all. Once this animal is completely given the NDV both for the body and for the CNS it will be immuned for life against Distemper meaning it will not need another Distemper vaccine shot again. The Titer readings will be something like 1/1600 give or take somewhere in that ballpark. Please do send the remaining spinal fluid to Antech Labs and it costs only 36 USA dollars to check for Distemper Antibodies in that fluid. Nothing else. If it is found you then will know and be certain the disease did get into the CNS and that is confirmed and your evidence of proof. You can have another tap taken out like 90 days later after the dog had the NDV and it will show negative and this means no disease is present in the CNS. Again this will confirm to you that the NDV did its job and cured your animal officially. OK Also do not give Modified Live Parvo Vaccine to a NDV cured dog ever. It reacts to the NDV. You can give Killed Parvo Vaccine. It is safe here. Never give Parvo Vaccine combined with the other vaccines. Must give separate and by itself. Why these VETS combine it, it is dangerous, and even the drug manufacturers do not recommend to give all in one shot. Last of all the NDV shot injections is a ONE TIME DEAL. Meaning you can only give it once to the body and once to the CNS. After that it is final. You can give the serum any number of times for the other disease and this is also in my site as well. Works just like NDV and it is a multi application use serum. All vaccine shots is meant for a 60 pound dog. So if you got a small dog, give only 0.5cc and then another 0.5cc after 21 days have passed. Otherwise you insult the immune system. I have pictures, and all the information data you need to know about in my site. It is there for you to make a sure sound decision. I can guarantee your dog will be cured if you and your VET follow the prescribed authentic medical protocol given with no deviations or changes therein. If you do, you or your VET will compromise the success treatment of your dog. Over 600 have been saved going 700 + actual cases and files, and the Neurological aspects is now confirmed and cureable beginning 2007. The rest is up to you to decide. Dr. Sears and I are experts and feel free to consult us at any time you wish here in this site or at my site. Both sites want animals to be cured and be healthy again. This is a good site. Write soon. Daveyo
