Rat Terrier mix aggression

Post a new topicby kas13 on Sat May 16, 2009 10:01 am

My wife and I adopted a very cute terrier mix a few months ago. When we first brought him home, he was fine, interacted well with both the wife and I, and played very well with our chihuahua mix. Suddenly, he became the dog form hell towards my wife. He lunges at her, and if he gets ahold of her, it is almost impossible to get him off of her. Will neutering him help, or do we need to try medication. He is avery loving dog toward me, and, if we can, we'd like to salvage this situation. Is this possible? Or do we need to think about euthanization. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kerry
