I bought a shih tzu puppy named Hugo from a kennel store about a week ago. The first three days, Hugo seemed healthy but on the fifth day, he caught fever and lost his appetite. I was so worried so I took him to a vet. After checking him thoroughly, the vet told me that Hugo has got distemper's systoms. I followed the vet advice to bring Hugo 3 consecutive days for nasal inhaling+injections. After that Hugo seemed better+agile but too bad on the 3rd day afterwards, he got diarrhoea. Now the vet is confirmed that Hugo has got distemper I don't know whether he can survive even though I already take a very good care following all the vet's advise. I regret for being too naive to trust the kennel store saying Hugo is a healty puppy and taking his words that a puppy should get distemper injection when he is 3 months old.

All the instructions are there for you. Right now go find yourself some Newcastle Disease Virus Vaccine and get 3 vials. It is not expensive. Once you have it then go to the Vet and inject to the dog. Remember the dosage is 0.1cc of NDV for every pound or 2.2 kg of dog weight. If between add another 0.1cc of NDV.

Cure is between 12-48 hours. Your still inside that window, so get cracking. The longer you wait, the higher the chances of this virus breaching the blood brain barrier. That is why I tell you to get 3 vials of it.
