My husband and I recently got two 5 1/2 month old kittens from an Animal Rescue Shelter. Everything was great to start with, but we did notice that the male kitten did sneeze occasionally. Recently we have noticed that the female kitten now has a white discharge around both her eyes, mainly her left eye. She has now started sneezing also. The male kitten has had a few coughing episodes and when he last night when he was running all around the house he stopped breifly and was panting with his mouth open, almost like a dog does. I'm really worried. I don't know if I am just over reacting and it's just a simple cold or weather is could be something more serious. Please help me.

Both of your cats have what is known as Feline Distemper which is very similar to dogs.

I will do some very fast research for you to make sure that the cure being used on dogs can be applied to your cats. If it works then I will also get the right Dx for you so you can cure them. In the meantime do not vaccinate them at all and I will make a post here late Monday night central time USA.
